Starlite Drive-In

Saturday night we finally made it to the Drive-In to watch Despicable Me....$10 carload night!

It was a Great night to be outside.

I thought we did but it turns out you can bring in a pizza with you if you wanted to!

It's POTTY Time!!!

YES! We are finally going potty on the potty!

I got tired of waiting on Camden to show interest in going potty on the big potty. So the other day I bought him a frog potty and some big boy underwear. He was with me when I got it and his reaction was "I no like!". Surprisingly he took to it very quickly. It didn't require mm treats or large amounts of cool-aid to get him to practice! He is very good about telling us when he has to go and we've only had a few accidents so were super glad. Blake trained the other two boys so I'm sure he is kind of sad he didn't get to train Camden ;0)-

First Day of School/End of Summer Photos

Back to School!

The boys enjoyed their first day and only a few tears were shed. Of course none by Cooper who basically acts like he doesn't have parents ;0)

On a side note, for 2 years I told people at the Yukon Schools that I probably wouldn't see them the next school year because we were moving. I am SO THANKFUL that this year we are finally here!!!!

SWAGGER HATS!

Don't know what they are...you are not alone. They are "cool" hats that you were to the side because you got swagger! :0). Grandad bought Cooper a hat...because he cool like that. And Carson just HAD to get one to. Camden said "where's my swagger hat?" so we gave him an old ball cap to wear.

POPSICLES. The boys could eat 10 of these a day!

This photo cracks me up!! We ate pizza w/Grammy and Grandad and Cooper found this vending machine where you could buy a mustache for .25 cents. Cooper is REALLY good at finding stuff for Grandad to buy him!! LOL


Grandad also brought us over a new pet!! Here the boys are checking it out.

Unfortunately "Opie" couldn't stay long. Camden was told not to touch him so Camden being the bossy pants that he is repeatedly told Grandad..."Grandad no touch!"

SCAVENGER HUNT

I love scavenger hunts! On one of the last days of summer vacation we went to G&G's and hunted for items. Some of the items you found and other items you just took a photo of w/your hunt partner in the photo. It was really funny how the boys interpreted what I had on the list. For example they were supposed to find a little person. I was thinking of the "Little People" figurines that come w/school buses etc. Cooper and Carson both took a picture of Camden :0)

Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun

First we went to Oceans of "somewhat" fun. It was a good time, but after waiting in 100 degree weather for over 30 minutes to ride a 30 second ride our enthusiasm became less and less :0)

That night we went to an outdoor shopping/restaurant place called Legends. We ate at a really good mexican restaurant but HAD to get our pictures taken at the T-REX Cafe that was also there. It was a pretty cool place!

The cafe had two levels and this GINORMOUS squid or is that an octopus?? hung from the ceiling.

They had some really nice fountains and some really nice shops, but we didn't get done eating until after 8:30 so all the shops were closed :0(

The next day we headed to Worlds of Fun...and it really was fun except for the heat! Here the boys are saying "OMG it's so HOOOOTTT!" We all started sweating w/in 10 minutes of getting there. Luckily it was not too busy so we got to ride a lot of rides!

On the way home from KC back to Iola we had 2 very worn out boys!

We had lots of fun and really enjoyed spending time with the boys!! Of course Camden was too little to come with us so Grammy Judy lovingly took care of him for us and spoiled him! Thank you Grammy!!!
