Last week Cooper and Carson went to Wichita with Blake and spent the whole week with my parents...which they LOVED...and so did I!! Camden and I stayed back and enjoyed the piece and quiet :0)
While the boys were in Wichita, my number one cousin, Brian, got the boys on the air base to get an up close view of really cool airplanes. They boys got to do lots of stuff including sitting in similators and sitting in the cockpits to get the real feel of what it is like to control an airplane. They also got to pretend they were boom operators and lay down to look out the back of the tanker where the airplane would connect with fighter jets to refuel...COOL!
Here are the boys getting run over by a B1...that's gonna leave a mark!
This is my dad and the boys standing beside a F104 that was not shot down during Vietnam... but did shoot down 2 MiGs in Vietnam

This is the back of the engine of the KC135 Tanker. Cooper and Carson both said "if you put your hand real close to it...it will feel like you just touched an oven".
Cooper said this one is "a superfast jet with smart bombs"Cooper and Carson both said "Uncle Joe bought this plane!". Which is not really what happened, but close enough. Joe has always had a love for airplanes and his career choices have reflected that. Among other thing Joe is currently a Lt. Colonel in the TX Air National Guard.

Awesome! Great pics. :-)
ReplyDeleteAlso, love Camden's new play trick. You're right, he doesn't look sorry at all!
