Yesterday there were people at the Seven/11 taking donations for MDA. For just $3 you could throw a pie in their face. Blake actually came back home and got the boys and took them back to do this.
Now it's Cooper's turn!

The boys had a 4 day weekend since school was also out on Friday. To entertain ourselves we went down to the lake next to the house. The boys rode their scooters down this long slope while Camden threw rocks into the lake (see previous post).
Next we went onto the skate park. Now the boys want skateboards Really bad, but I don't feel like a trip to the emergency room so I only let them use scooters :0). I told the boys once that they could have a skateboard when they are 35 and Carson has told me on numerous occasions that when he is 35 he is GETTING a skateboard...maybe even when he is 20 (just to be defiant ;0)
When we first got to the park Carson was having a real hard time getting his scooter to go to the top, but by the end he was real pro at it!
While at the park Camden did a lot of climbing around and at one point he was climbing up some stairs and next to him was a BLACK WIDOW!! I told Blake about this but you could tell he didn't believe me. The boys BEGGED us to take them back to the park this weekend so when we did I showed Blake the spider. He said "that really is a black widow!"...like I would make something like that up! We'll call the parks dept to see if anyone is unlazy enough to go take care of it. It was pretty well hidden behind sticks and junk, but someone like Camden or some other curious little boy could poke at it and get bite! Anyway after all the begging the boys did they only stayed 20 minutes because "it was hot".
Camden also loved the park. I couldn't believe he was able to do this, but he climbed the steep slopes all by himself!

Cooper had a little collision with Will ... the neighbor's dog. He was over playing in their yard when the doorbell rings and it's Dana with an icepack over his eye! Will, their big white lab, accidentally tripped Cooper and then stepped on his eye! We really thought it was going to swell up and be a black eye, but it turned out to only be a scratch. I told Coop that it was too bad he didn't have school the next day so that he could get all that sympathy from the ladies ;0)
Here's Will. He is a lovable dog, but I wouldn't want him standing on my eye either :0)

Poor Coop! And that is one big dog. It looks like they had fun at the skate park, especially Camden. I did mean to ask you on the phone the other day, why didn't you just kill the black widow???
